The first meeting of the directors of Tucson Realty and Trust Company was held at the office of the company, Stone Avenue and Broadway, yesterday afternoon, with J.A. Rogers, Edward W. White, John M. McBride, W.H. Sawtelle and Charles E. Walker present.
The formation of this new corporation was completed and the business of old Rogers-McBridge Realty Company turned over. Plans for the year just opening were outlined, and the present were enthusiastic as to the outlook for the immediate future, in that it promised to be the best year in the history of the Old Pueblo in all lines of business in view of the rise in the copper market, the pacification of Mexico, the acquisition or statehood and the interest manifestation in general in developments of many enterprises in and about Tucson.
